Caused-By-Not-Eating-Veggies (CBNEV) Sicknesses

Hi People! I am so sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. So let us get on with today's topic:


CBNEV Sicknesses


The abbreviation CBNEV is not a term used by the government or anything. It is a term used by the HO. So, what are CBNEV Sicknesses? Well, I have already mentioned some sicknesses like scurvy and Berri-Berri. By the way, some sicknesses are caused by malnutrition, so it is impossible they are to say that they are 100 percent CBNEV sicknesses ok? So, let me tell you more about the sicknesses and how you can avoid them:

1) Scurvy
Info:
Scurvy is mainly caused by lack of Vitamin C. Sailors were the most common victim but, it was also caught by explorers, pirates and even soldiers! These are some of the nasty things that can happen:

Liver Spots (Mostly on the legs and thighs)
Spongy Gums
Tooth Loss
Bleeding from all Mucus Membranes
Bleeding Gums
Opening of healed scars and seperation of knitted bone fractures
Sunken Eyes

Luckily, people have known the cure and cause for a very long time. Untreated scurvy is always fatal. However, for a full recovery, all you need to do is eat fruits and veggies alot or even at a normal pace and you'll get better. So, don't plan your funeral if you have it just yet.

2) Beri Beri
Info:
Beri Beri is because of lack of Vitamin B1 (Thiamine). I do not know much about it but, I do know it is gruesome. Wait! I just checked the net. And it is gruesome. Here is what happens:

Weight Loss
Emotional Disturbances
Messy Senses
Weakness
Pain in the limbs
Sometimes irregular heart rate

Now, this can be fatal because it can cause heart faliure and so on. There are two types of Beri Beri. Wet Beri Beri and Dry Beri Beri. To make it clear, Wet affects the heart and makes all the tissuse in your body waterlogged because of thin cappilary walls. Dry causes partial paralyzation and damaged nerves. To get a boost in thiamine: Eat fresh foods like fresh meat, green veggies, fruits and milk. So, you should drink your milk too!

3) Rickets
Info:
Rickets is caused by lack of Vitamin D. Well, It is basically sofeting of the bones making you appear you know sloppy and jellyish and stuff. So, this is basically it so it is not that much of a worry. Wait! I just found a list of things that happen:

Bone Pain or Tenderness
Dental Problems
Muscel Weakness
Increased Tendency for Fractures
Skeletal Deformity
Todlers: Bowed Legs
Older Children: Knock Knees
Cranial, Spinal and Pelvic Deformities
Growth Disturbance

And so much more with words I do not understand. So, in short eat fruits and veggies under the sun, the most reliable source of Vitamin D.

So you have heard a few of our CBNEV Sicknesses and they truly are gruesome and bad. All the more a good reason to eat Fruits and Vegetables! P.S. Sorry about the lecture!

Little error , and as usual a little notice to our fellow readers!

Hi , hi and well..................hi AGAIN ! :)
Now basically what was on the previous post was erm... not that correct(no offence kitty)
we are not expecting u to be defintye hard-core veggie haters if u only hate one of two veggies ,its alright !You still can join like example ME! I like AND dont like brocoli i eat only the bushy-greenish-thingy on the top and i DEFINETLY DO NOT eat that digusting(no offence to people who like brocoli)stalk at the bottom 'YUCK!' So go ahead regardless of whether u hatesome or alot of vegies ! You can join! AND PS TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO JOIN :The e-mail cartoonixorganisation has been sort of erm hacked?i cannot log in so if u want to join but dont know how just tag on the e-mail typing your e-mail address and i will send u an e-mail!
And a note for everybody u dont need to be a veggie hater to read our post!As long as enjoy it ,like or as i like to say have time then ,its absolutely no problem for us!Go ahead and READ!

Veggies: The icky green stuff

Please tag how you define veggies. Some might say: Stuff that your parents force you to eat that tastes gross. Others: healthy and nutritous treats that keep you alive and well. I will tell you now the answer. It is BOTH! Time for a little activity. Close your eyes and think of EVERY vegetable you EVER ate. Do you have one that has a NICE memory behind it instead of a one that is little like this:

"MOM (Or Dad or both)! This tastes HORIBLE! You know I don't like brussle sprouts!" you trying to shove your mom away as she tries to put the mean green puke making machine in your mouth.

Do you remember her reply? Was it: If you don't eat your greens, you can seriously get sick.

If it was, listen to her. And don't go away from this computer shouting: That Kitty person is CRAZY! Because it is so completly true. Have you ever heard of scurvy or beri- beri? Diseases which can be caused by not taking veggies. Yes, the icky green stuff. Ok second part of activity. This one is more like one of my favourite games, Truth or Dare. Here it is:

Truth: Tell your Mom or Dad: "Sorry. I should go eat more veggies next time. My favourite is actually corn (corn is an e.g.)
Dare: Go down to your mom and ask your her to cook your favourite vegetable for dinner. Then, eat ALL the vegetables on your plate and ask for SECOND servings.

Cool, right? Well not so but, this is to helps you to avoid scurvy and beri- beri and other sicknissess. One of the foods you hate most could SAVE YOUR LIFE. And I bet you would want that wouldn't you? So, chew on this untill my next post on HOV: Vegetables are better than you think!

Hi , the basic explanaation is your first step!

Hello Everybody!This is the first post for the HOV club-blog!Now you maybe probaly wondering why are we using GREEN for this post as this is a vegatable hating club !!!!! 'AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!'Ahhhhhhhhhhh...... But this is suppose to promote you to enjoy it and to also be able to share why you hate it with people(we do not have a tagboard so share wehat yopu think under comments), the president and I will also frequently check and share with you too. For we do not also enjoy eating veggies but it is healthy and good for you!Don't get it wrong we are totally not nagging...... We will teach you how to keep good diets further on which not only consist of ALL vegetables but a healthy balance of both vegetables and normal food .So we are hoping that you will not feel left out or feel that we are nagging.We will try our atmost to give you the best from both our advisor and post.
